This Privacy Policy explains how SoyApps, an independent developer in Japan (“we”, “us”), handles your information in Copy Link to Pasteboard (“the app”). Copy Link to Pasteboard is a Safari extension for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that copies the link of the current page to the clipboard in formats such as Markdown, rich text, and HTML.

Data the App Uses
The Current Tab
When you copy a link from the toolbar popup, the context menu, or a keyboard shortcut, the extension reads the title and URL of the current Safari tab and any text you have selected on the page. It uses them only to build the link in the format you chose and to write it to your clipboard. They are never stored or sent anywhere.
The extension reads a page only when you open its popup or copy a link. It does not read other tabs, your browsing history, or the rest of the page.
Custom Formats
The custom format templates you create are used only to build links in those formats.
Where Your Data Is Stored
- Custom formats: stored in Safari’s extension storage on your device. They are not synced between devices.
- Copied links: written to your device’s clipboard. On Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account, the system’s Universal Clipboard may make them available on your other devices.
- No data is sent to any server operated by us. The app does not make network requests.
Third-Party Services
The app does not send data to any third party.
Advertising
The app shows no ads and does not use your device’s advertising identifier.
Purchases
The app has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Personal identification information, such as your name, email address, or phone number

Your Choices and Deleting Your Data
- You can turn the extension off or limit the websites it can access in Safari’s settings.
- You can delete a custom format from the popup.
- Deleting the app removes the extension and its custom formats.
Data Security
Your custom formats stay on your device and are protected by your device’s own security measures (passcode, biometric authentication, and encryption). The app has no server, so there is no copy of your data on our side.
Children’s Privacy
Copy Link to Pasteboard is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
